NVIDIA 4000 Series

I think a thousand cards is a lot of stock for just one retailer. The demand for a £2,000 GPU with no mining possible is going to be fractional to the number who wanted a £700 3080. I'd be surprised if demand was even 5% of that. We will see, though. Not long now.
Never underestimate FOMO and people’s ability to get the credit card out :D

I put my money on they will all be sold out this afternoon even the high end ones if they have only 5 of them. They havent got many more cards than the 3090 launch. I know there was mining then but they could have sold 10,000 on launch day if there had been enough

You have to remember mining didn't really kick in then, it was not long after it did, so don't even think it was the miners in the start just the demand from gamers and pro users wanting them.

You need a very high end system to get the best out of this hardware, along with a high end 4k monitor. CPU bottle necking will be forcing more upgrades along with PSU requirements and bigger case's to fit them in. For many unless already running high end hardware its the start of a BIG spend to get the most out of it.
credit cards will be taking a bashing for sure and the credit card companys will be increasing the interest rates very soon.

Yeah but all reviews of AIB go out as soon they go on sale , while FE had day before

That's nvidias way to get two solid days of free advertising and marketing from the reviewers and keeps the topic of new cards always there for the week to remind any that forgot about the release or didn't realise .
