NVIDIA 4000 Series

Just got my shopping confirmation on the zotac oc 3090 trinity. Anyone have any experience with this card in previous generations. Tried for an msi but missed out.

Yeah I have the 3080 OC. It's OK I suppose - best thing is 5 yr warranty. Wouldnt say they are the quetest of cards but I came from AIO's on two prior cards. That 5 yr warranty is peice of mind on a £1700+ card though. Boosted way past the advertised boost rate too.

A bit of wierdness. I've just received the below from Amazon Pay:

You haven't been charged yet. After OCUK has finished processing your order, we’ll send confirmation that your payment is complete.

Except they most certainly have charged me. I had to verify the purchase on my phone.

My Suprim 4090 is being packed as we speak. Hopefully will arrive tomorrow! Too bad OCUK couldn't let me check out though as I would have bought from here but whatever. What a horrible launch? See everyone back here in two years for 5090? :)

Hi mate, I had the similar for PayPal - This purchase will appear as a pending transaction until OcUK Limited processes your order.

I've been casually browsing all shops, then back to OC UK, looked at the Zotac Trinity... £100 more, but 2 years warranty more than FE, so in such way this is unique situation, pondered for a moment, decided oh well, 2 years more warranty costed me more on a laptop, so I might as well... Click add to basket - sold out. xD At least no stress really, instead I just laughed. I think life is trying to tell me something. :)

That said, warranty-wise, FE warranty isn't transferable to another buyer at all (part of their ToS), so it makes it harder to sell it later. Zotac usually makes no issues with it, so easier sale later.

So is Gibbo going to use the same tactics as last time and hide the cards on another page when they come in stock or give members a heads up in advance?
Doubt it will be necessary, there were cards still available up until about 10 mins ago. Now the initial wave of FOMO/excitement is gone and subject to how much scalpers actually make I think the next wave will probably be ok (outside of the founders edition).

Cool, yeah I got it for 1900 so warranty a good thing.

I waited ages for my 3090 so nice to get on the day. Was on a work meeting clicking desperately!

It says out of stock but its letting me go through to paypal to buy one because i had one in my cart earlier it was a zotac one if its not in stock why is it letting me pay?

Think I gave managed to secure a 4090 oc Trinity after a very frustrating hour of trying.

Just as well because I sold my 3080 and so have a rig sitting there.

Was the noise for me, its the quietest card by all accounts, plus im sure with a dual bios will be able to flash to a higher one since they are all effectively the same!
FE this time is almost whisper quiet too, judging by reviews. And seems to be cheapest (sans few exceptions).

For the AIRO I read on one review the max power someone got was 480, not sure how true that is.

Ahhh mate, I sold my old PC to a mate so had to take out my 3090 last night to put in it, been running on the AMD IGPU, I was so worried I wasn't going to get one. I remember on the 3000 series launch so many people sold their card a month in advanced then ended up with nothing lol.
