NVIDIA 4000 Series

OMG my PSU doesn't have 4 independent connectors .....

they are CPU/PCIE though maybe I could daisy chain :S
I'm gonna ask phanteks support or seasonic and see what they say

I'm planning to set the power limit to 60% though so I Guess it doesn't really make a difference if I'm only on 3 connectors.

BTW this card the bios switch on mine is set to silent not gaming by default

With my old card 980ti... Served me well!

The stupid anti sag bracket doesn't really work with my case, if I put it down the void near the front fans then it's not a flat surface down there so I have to pit it where it is now.

If you let Gibbo know in a PM they will get the order cancelled if they find out who it is.

(Actually you cant PM him)

We have already cancelled some orders where we have linked Ebay adverts. :)

However maybe we should not because if they can't make a profit, then maybe the scalpers will stop.

Scalpers were a huge issue last time and still are, the world we live in, the ones we spot we deal with, but unfortunately cannot catch them all.

8 watching the giga £3000 4090.

Too much for Jensen to supply a longer power cable to hide that mess....

I would say don't risk it and just get a new PSU that legit actually supports it.

EDIT: Go Big or go home. When you pretty much just dropped 2 grand on a GPU no point skimping out on a PSU for it.

Hmm interesting, so does that mean you have vsync enabled at a global level in NVCP and leave the vsync option disabled in games?
No, I do not touch it on global level (as that affects all apps in Windows, not just games and can cause undesirable effects, as AMD engineer said in different topic). I enable it in games usually and only in NVCP if game is old and doesn't have such option. However, I also always disable triple buffering in games (this is what causes a lot of delays in mouse movement etc.) and in NVCP I set Low Latency mode to Ultra (as that is designed to work very well with vsync and g-sync together, as even description says so in NVCP).

I didn't even see the add to basket button on the UK site.
I meant to specify non-FE availabilty for half an hour on one site in US.

I'm still trying to figure out which ones I want and which ones to avoid. The Suprim looks nice. I'm interested in the Tuf versions but I have watched two videos and no mention of power limits.

I actually like the look of the cheapest (plain) Gigabyte, but again, can't find power limits for that version.
