8 watching the giga £3000 4090.

Too much for Jensen to supply a longer power cable to hide that mess....

Yeah the adapter should be a single cable from the card end for a good 40cm then split out to PCIE so you can at least hide the adapters somewhere away from the GPU.

FE this time is almost whisper quiet too, judging by reviews. And seems to be cheapest (sans few exceptions).

4090FE is louder this gen than previously, louder than the 3090FE, which was too loud for me. Almost all reviewers also mentioned dodgy, wobbling fans. The fans on my 3090FE got worse over the 2 years I've been using it also, they feel cheap.

For anyone wanting very quiet cards (if the rest of your PC is very quiet) then I recommend an AIB model with a quiet bios option switch

We have already cancelled some orders where we have linked Ebay adverts.

However maybe we should not because if they can't make a profit, then maybe the scalpers will stop.

Scalpers were a huge issue last time and still are, the world we live in, the ones we spot we deal with, but unfortunately cannot catch them all.

Kind of snookered because as I already have a 3090Ti X Trio this was the easiest way to sneak a new card past an unsuspecting missus!

I suppose no rush - FE's have been relatively easy to get throughout 3000 series. Perhaps it will be the same here.

I have a nasty suspicion though that each drop will be more money as the pound tanks.
