NVIDIA 4000 Series

who gives a flying f about FE's selling out when there's plenty of third party cards available for same price?
they may had only a couple hundred FE's in stock.
I wonder who's daft enough to buy those FE's for anything over MSRP from scalpers now :D

The FEs are quite a bit shorter than the AIBs, I have an MATX case and that is a better fit so unless I get a new case which I couldn't be bothered with - I'd be happy with an FE , it would fit in nicely. TBH I probably won't get a 4090 but that was the only one on my radar.

BTW I would not 100% get one from a scalper!

This review suggests its 495w

Disappointing for the amp "extreme". Should be 600w, should be quieter and should have lower idle power consumption.

do you guys think i need to upgrade my 3950x to like 5950x so that i dont get bottleneck all the time in 4k with 4090? or 3950x should be fine ?
Why 5950x and not 5800x3D if anything? The latter is what most reviewers tested 4090 on. That said, it depends on what FPS range you want to achieve in 4k. 4090 can be bottlenecked by CPU but that's above 180-200FPS, in 4k.
