The FE instantly went. The TUF I found impossible to get - was trying for 30-40 minutes at 3 retailers and all having issues, unable to add to basket, going out of stock when I tried. The OCUK stock lasted longer as they'd added about £100+ across the board
 
Well my first ever purchase from this site and despite the 'Your order has been placed successfully' page, complete with order ID and 'Thank you for your purchase!' I still await a confirmation email from OC on my purchase after 6hrs! ..Let alone it's been dispatched!

I think scalpers are selling to FOMO buyers right now, but I can't imagine a 900 class or even Pascal owners, who didn't bite on Ampere, would bite on *scalped* Ada.

The tuf was actually easy to get for £1699 and stayed in stock till after 5pm today I saw it at the retailer I purchased my 3090s from. The FE I never even saw the buy button or in stock.

It only makes sense if it is true that the AIB coolers were desidnded when Nvidia was still considering going with Samsung.
TSMC 4nm is a major efficiency improvment over Samsung 7/8 nm.
Maybe the 490 is pre overclocked to justify those coolers.

All I play is msfs on my pc, in vr got the inno3d ichill. Can't wait to turn some settings up higher on my reverb g2.
It'll be coupled with a 12700k@5p 4p & 32gb ram. Christmas Day for me tomorrow.

Look at it this way , is your money and no doubt worked hard to earn it so you spend it as you please.... no need to justify the purchase to anyone :D

Only 4 scalpers made a sale so far on the UK auctions. I think many will have to lower prices. The demand is not the same as 3000 series was.

i did get one

i had a choice from the 2400 strix to the 1700 tuf, but chose the amp extreme

80% gone by 4pm, by 5pm not one major retailer had a 4090 instock

so a lot of people missed out, i didnt coz i was on point, like the other 800 ppl who managed to bag one

real weather
real airtraffic control (if connected, no messing around)
You can fly from UK to paris in a airline, jet, propeller, fighter jet at mach speeds, fly to the alps and himalayas, take u about the same time as a real flight
download enhanced version of cities such as London

Its truly a masterpiece, very relaxing and very mesmerizing to play.

oh and do it on easy arcade mode to the real plane simulator mode.
