They have to pay tax on top of the listed price in the USA – usually 20% (a little lower in some states). So anyone buying a $1700 card is actually paying $2040 at the checkout.They are even $1700 in USA ... The MSI SUPRIM X 4090..

Seriously we are being ripped off here in UK and don't want to hear the £ vs $ rubbish and VAT... He's just showed me the price on his account £1749.99 and free shipping.
Retailers here are just making up prices, some being honest others taking advantage. Simple as that.
