You can always return it, I think stock will be fine in a few weeks and then you can get the card you want - is a lot of money for something that you are not happy with; just my view of course.

The power cable plug looks tiny compared to the amount of cables being rammed into it. The pins are tiny too…

I managed to order a zotac trinity 4090 yesterday afternoon.
It still hasn't shipped and my tickets are getting no response....

Yes i'm not keen on this new connector, reminds me of the SATA data/power connector on SSD/HDD that can easily snap and yes had that happen with a brand new £450 HDD and thankfully WD sent me a new one as they know how silly fragile they are and brittle.

Anyone else going to get a 4080 16? I think I could scramble the cash for a 4090 but I can't justify 1.6k for a GPU, it's just madness, I can't do it, the best I can do is 1.2k, seems like the 4080 16 would still be a huge upgrade from a 3080 Ti especially with DLSS 3

4080 is more my budget but i'm waiting for AMD's launch first so i can get the best value.
You are going to need to start justifying 1.6k for a GPU TBH, with the 4090 selling out day one, we have sealed our fate for prices of cards going forward. Wouldn't surprise me to see the 5090 at 2k when it releases in a few years time.

Nope, 1.2k for what is basically 3080 last gen for 650 makes no sense to me, even if it is a decent uplift which is yet to be seen. It's even worse when you consider the 4080 12gb looking at the tech specs of it.

Where's the 1.6k coming from? The founders being the cheapest is 1.7k.

Get the 4090 AIB/FE at £1699 not the lame 4080 16GB it's not worth the money mate from the Nvidia slides that show performance compared to the 4080 12GB and 4090. You will regret it.
