NVIDIA 4000 Series

I spoke too soon...

Anyone having issues with the Inno3d Ichill X3 with Timespy both normal and Extreme? Mine will not complete a test, Freezes then 3d Mark returns to menu just saying benchmark could not be completed due to error?

Temps are good never went over 66c but he benchmark doesn't last until the second scene then freezes.

Windows 11 22H2
Seasonic 850w Gold PSU using the 3 way adaptor.
12900k on Rog Strix Z690 Gaming A
Latest Nvidia drivers full DDU clean install.

Not sure if I have a duff inno 4090 here.

Edit...

I just noticed everytime it does it there's an error in event log saying Application error 3DMarkTimeSpy.exe faulting module C:/Windows/System32/ntd.dll

Could it be your PSU maxing out?

Is that the adaptor that comes in the box? Do you have access to a 1KW PSU to test with?

If not, I'd probably format SSD and reinstall a fresh copy of W11 just to be sure.

Don't think so, It's not pulling anywhere near 650w, There's no Nvidia related errors in event log just this ntddll.dll faulting module literally within 10 secs of running the benchmark.

I've rebooted since and the same thing, Not sure what to do at this point, On doing a bit of digging on that .DLL file it seems to be a Windows system file that multiple different apps use.

We had this card early I and the rnd guys trued afew all great.. No issues on that bench 8 show my results in the video I did... I personally do t recommend psu less than 1000w for these cards to be honest... Defo spikes above 850 in our testing with an overclocked 7950x etc...

Yep I would check for a corrupt dll or windows file as im guessing you will have checked for updates already.

Well pleased my 4090 has given me 50+% extra fps in msfs, i can really max out the resolution so it looks stunning in vr.
It's quiet.
Only drawback is i can't put the side of my case back on properly (not yet anyway, not tried really hard up to now). The adapter sticks out, need a right angle adapter).

Yes it's the adaptor that came with the Inno3d X3, It does have Nvidia written on the cable so I'm assuming it's the official cable.

Just tried the Timespy stress test and it lasted about 1 min and did it again with the same error.
