NVIDIA 4000 Series

First game tested on my 4090 Suprim X. Cyberpunk. Target 60fps (no DLSS3 yet), all settings maxed, raytracing psycho, 4096x2160 res (true 4K). After auto OC on Afterburner, card boosting to 2900Mhz WITHOUT increasing power limit. 65-80fps consistently using 'balanced' DLSS 2.0. Quality DLSS sees occasional drops below 60fps in busy scenes. Only marginal though.

That may not sound like a lot but considering everything is RT, reflections, shadows and even global illumination, that's very impressive. Was getting 40fps tops on my 3090 with same settings. It looks utterly glorious.

Card is so quiet even under heavy load that I can't hear it with my ear 2 feet from card. Temp hitting low 70s.

Zotacs basic card goes like hell.

Might be power capped but 2955mhz core and 23900mhz mem. 60 degrees! My mates Windforce has an extra powerplug and does 2940mhz and 24000mhz so literally the same.

Yes it's the adaptor that came with the Inno3d X3, It does have Nvidia written on the cable so I'm assuming it's the official cable.

Just tried the Timespy stress test and it lasted about 1 min and did it again with the same error.
Can you not search for and then download that dll from the internet to replace yours in case it's corrupted or something?

25 year later, can finally play Q2 in all it's glory at over 100fps. Max settings 3840x1600 no namby pamby FSR or DLSS

Just a thought... if I need a new PSU when I get a 4090, is there a way I can avoid the PITA of having to re-cable everything?
I currently have a modular EVGA PSU, so if I just buy another EVGA PSU can I just plug in all the exisiting cabling into the PSU?
Anyone tried anything similar?

As i keep saying, its a silicon lottery. Some people with the lowest power cards will have the best max boost. The Asus strix OC was the worst max boost in one round up I saw. Imagine having paid £2400 for that and its beaten by a basic £1699 card?

Reminds me of the old disco dance floor....:)
The 4090 disco...

My Zotac Trinity has arrived, been tested, and is working. I tried running Port Royal and got a message saying 'The frame rate exceeded the Nvidia...' Score was only 23826 thanks to my relatively poor 11400.

It could be the load being drawn is causing the system to become unstable what model is that a prime or focus, how old etc?
I don't think it's that now because weirdly I've just ran Port Royal demo and benchmark and it completed without a hitch and gave me a result of 26000 and I noticed Port Royal was pulling even more power than Timespy, Timespy max I roughly saw was about 425-430 I think and Port Royal pulled 446w for a lengthy time too so something is odd either with the divers or my Timespy is corrupt somehow.

It's the Focus Gold edition and 3 Yrs old.

There wasn't any corrupt Windows files anyway according to the SFC scan, Still not sure why Timespy won't complete but I may try reinstalling it or try some other GPU tests to see what's going on with that ntddll.dll file.

get it watercooled and that will increase a few boost bins and sit in the 3K range imo :D

Zotac are looking in to a problem I have.
The UST projector says it's in 4K. But windows is in 1080p.

I have no idea what is causing it.

Thats exactly what i did with a Corsair modular psu, RM750W changed to RM850W. Just check online the cables for your existing psu are interchangeable with your new psu.

Yes I think I may try that if I still have no luck, I just mentioned in another post that Port Royal demo and benchmark ran just fine so unless something is corrupt with my 3d Mark installation I'm baffled why Port Royal is completing and that's pulling more power so it's not a system issue I don't think.
