NVIDIA 4000 Series

Careful mate they might think you're a shop lifter :D:cry:
I left it for now to think about it over the weekend as it more of something I just want and not really need
As my 2080ti still runs 95% of my games pretty good at 3440x1440 (Really it only the 2020 MS Flight sim that really struggles for FPS)
But it would be nice to have for running my games at 4k 120hz on my 65” OLED ;)

People are spending over £2K for a GPU now, where did they get a money tree from

My tree has quite a lot of branches and leaves. My PC is still running a GTX1070, and I don't buy the new shiny thing, hence the numerous leaves. I'm going to leave the RTX4090 on the branch.

I'm expecting the release of the 4080, 4070 and 4060 to be total chaos. All retailers sold out in minutes at already inflated prices and then scalpers re-selling with a huge mark-up. I don't think crypto will even be a factor, demand for gamers alone will outstrip supply.

4090 is a beast, the rest of the ada line up sucks, therefore don't expect big demand. 4090 was always going to sell out with such limited supply.

I'm hoping there will be a few 3080fe's in the MM after the 4080 is available, not looking to buy a 4080.
I need a 3080fe to fit my case, 3060Ti in it now.

So that Gaming OC on ebay got no more bids in the last 2 hours and sold for £2100.00. That buyer could have potentially lost money on that sale depending on where they bought and by the time ebay takes their cut. Suck it scalpers!

it will be £1 final selling fees or 80% off final selling fees. I get one or other almost every weekend. And if he bought well it would have only been £1699. so potentially almost a £400 profit there.

I've just been doing some tests in portroyal figures below are

Clock/power(ma) PR Score total power (v)

2760/950 25117 602w
2805/975 25566 637w
2865/1000 25739 653w
2940/1025 25870 670w
2955/1050 25789 678w

I think behind 1025 it's power limited in gpuz it's a solid green at 1050ma.

I may try some lower clocks and see what the total system draw is then.

Is there really any advantage to such gains considering top and bottom results I can save nearly 80w for a 3% drop in performance.

underclock/undervolt even lower. You can probably drop another 50W for just a few 100 off your scrore

It’s not demand it’s just incredibly low stock.

Nvidia hype it all up and then have 50 units for sale on their website. Of course it’s going to sell out in ten seconds.

Yup, this is me and my 3080Ti - I keep looking at 4090s and get close to an impulse purchase but I really don't need it AT ALL :D
