Just crazy - I mean I like ROG gear but not £500 more than the FE. I just wish there was more stock of the FE as other cards are showing up fairly regularly now.Totally Stupid Considering its actually no better in performance and thermals then the £1799 FE card.
Damn school runGreat, suprim is only card I'd pay £2k for... even thought its more than that .
Also trio x, sub £1800 now.
Ouch its huge as well then.....my poor case.Same size.
Yes but someone has randomly thrown some red & blue paint on the strix. Must be worth a few grand extra.Totally Stupid Considering its actually no better in performance and thermals then the £1699 FE card.
I like Asus stuff - it does have a more quality vibe than a lot of the other brands but £500 more! The nicest card imo is the FE and its the cheapest (and seems to be the rarest!)Yes but someone has randomly thrown some red & blue paint on the strix. Must be worth a few grand extra.
Might sound crazy but that's exactly what Rolex do!
I've always gone for Partner cards in the past, because they've offered more performance and were decent looking.Just crazy - I mean I like ROG gear but not £500 more than the FE. I just wish there was more stock of the FE as other cards are showing up fairly regularly now.
I think the only other card I would consider would be the TUF if it was the same price as the FE but the FE is definitely no 1 choice.asus builds out the entire card on an automated assembly line, so they dont pre-heat the baseboard - which is supposed to increase durability and reliability and the output quality is expected to be more consistent than other manufacturers who use manual methods for assembling larger board components
now how much of a premium that should translate to is not easy to guess
I have seen a picture of a native ATX3.0 cable that has started to melt.

Saw here: https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/yltzbt/maybe_the_first_burnt_connector_with_native_atx30/That picture of a forum members connector, or someone you know?
lol the cablemod placebo effect doing wonders.. a cable going for 45 EUR got to be some kind of a joke that i dont fully understand
And not one of the 20 confirmed cases is a Founders Card. Interesting that.
Everyone is blaming the cables. But the fact that not one founders card has shown this problem as of yet, suspect me to believe there is a possibility that most partner cards are doing something different to Nvidia. I Can't wait to find out the truth.Just wait until we see reports on reddit that their 4090 started melting WITH the cablemod.
Having said that, I did see one CM rep say that in the event that actually happens then the company will replace both the cable AND the gpu.
That’s because Nvidia screwed the AIB’s over and kept the good stuff for themselves. And not one of the 20 confirmed cases is a Founders Card. Interesting that.
More evidence as to why EVGA got out. That’s because Nvidia screwed the AIB’s over and kept the good stuff for themselves.
