NVIDIA 4000 Series

WCCFTech are reporting that Nvidia have shipped over 100k AD102 GPUs. Now obviously not all of them are going to gamers but that's still a stonking number for a halo product.

They obviously learned from the ampere launch, where they began selling the 3080 before the more expensive 3090 and it jumped off shelves.

Some people would have wanted the more power but because the “less” powerful one came out first they jumped on it.

This time flog the most expensive item because it’s the only one available and capitalise on the FOMO crowd.

There will always be variables, In manufacture and in how users make the connection to the card and the psu.

In the past with lower powers to cards this probably never came up as an issue until now with these power hungry devices.

Linked above is the 100k sales, that's a lot of people connecting cables, and a lot of cables being manufactured.
Considering someone has just reported a burnt new single lead 3.0 ATX 12+4 pin connector. I think the poorly connected issue is irrelevant now.

Does someone knows whats the diference between the asus 4090 strix and 4090 tuf ? (Apart of price and rgb lights) i want to watercool with EK waterblock, so i would like to know if it worth buy the strix over tuf or is the same thing?
I ve been searching this info and cant find it....

RTX 4090 has now already sold over 100k units

And just we have a reference, that's about the same number as 6900XT AMD has sold over that GPUs entire lifetime

Do note that this is not the total number of GPUs produced nor the amount that has been sold but rather shipped to partners to ready the RTX 4090 designs.

Get the TUF , save a bit of cash that will pay for the EK waterblock . Performance is nigh on identical between the 2 in fact i would say all of them are the same and comes down to which one you prefer the look off and how lucky you are with the silicone lottery :)

Thanks, that might explain the reason why is the same waterblock for both cards
