NVIDIA 4000 Series

Fitting the ABP has dropped my flow by quite a noticeable amount as was previously up at 180 l/h now 150 l/h , everything fitted correctly so just putting it down to the block being restrictive as temps are all good still... just tried with the pump on 1200rpm and ALARM started flashing on the byski sensor and the little spinning wheel was hardly moving , she definitely needs more pump speed to keep her happy
I still have that Bykski flow sensor. Need an excuse to use it on another project as it worked really well. Switched it out for the NEXT Flow that finally came into stock.

Pretty high-water temp but not crazy. That pump is seriously low like you said. I run my D5 at about 2,500 and don't really hear it. Good temps for running fans and pump super low.

Yeah the case is right next to my screen so I like it to be nice and quiet. The pump and 6 fans on the right handside of the case can still be heard if I crank them up at all.

I've undervolted the card now so its putting out a lot less heat. So impressed with how well it undervolts. I usually liquid metal the die/block but didn't bother this time and just used Kryonaut.

Two Palit cards on this page, what am I missing that there is a 30 quid price difference?
The "OC" version has its boost clock set to 2640 Vs 2505 on the normal version - something you can do yourself using MSI afterburner

What I want to know if how come you have a tiny video window, on a huge webpage rather than using PiP mode and making it bigger and movable! It's making me shiver. :p

Palit do three cards in each 40 series range currently:
- Omni Black - No Vapor Chamber in cooler (runs 2-3c hotter), no RGB, no Overclock
- GameRock - Vapor Chamber, RGB, no Overclock.
- GameRock OC - Vapor Chamber, RGB, Overclocked out the box.

The OmniBlack is the best seller, the cooler is still so good it out performs other brands and many people prefer the toned down all black looks of the card.

Is anyone still getting the black screen instead of the splash screen and BIOS. The firmware update did nothing for me making BIOS a complete hassle to get into.
The 4090 FE firmware fixed the issue for me .... are you using the Apex yet or still your old mb ? When I was looking for solutions some people had luck with a mb bios update rather than the card . I specifically remember evga mb and asus for amd having updates to improve compatibility with the 4090 and bios screen. I was still able to access bios on mine by constantly hitting F2 while restarting but it wouldn't show a picture until bios had actually loaded.

No 4090's in stock here or main competitor. Lodsa 4080's everywhere.
So prob TCO will be same considering re-sale value :) but much higher performance.

Yep using the Apex now, but that won't be it I don't think.

I think its the monitor. It doesn't seem to like HDMI 2.1. With Display Port it seems to be more reliable at showing the splash screen now when I switch adaptive mode off the Samsung G8. Unfortunately I don't have any other monitors to try.

I have also come across that issue from others when searching for solutions to mine , could see it with display port but not hdmi ... on mine I couldn't see anything regardless of connection or monitor used . I was able to get the correct bios loading and asus splash screen if I set CSM to enabled.... doing this disabled rebar but was able to see the correct screen to see what was happening. Do you get a picture with CSM enabled? Certainly sounds like something other than the GPU needs an update. Early adopting issues are a pita
