NVIDIA 4000 Series

Well looks like the 40xx is selling well now due to the lacklustre amd release so no price drops :(

If I had a load of stock I couldn't sell I'd probably lie about it selling well so other people experience the bliss that is FOMO.

That said with a near monopoly on market share (excluding iGPU sales) it ought to make sense that it was selling better though it really depends on what the formula is for this metric as I wouldn't have thought after the spike in demand between 2020-21 plus less disposable money flowing around that there would be enough interest in GPU's in general.

Doom Eternal is a cheat really, that engine is so well optimised that even a 3080 gets rasterised 150fps+ with RT enabled in ultra nightmare at 1440P - It is not a game that representats average gaming perofmrance as no other developer seems to care about engine optimisation like id Tech do :p

But why!!!! I'm sending it home so my wife can bash me over the head with it when she finds out how much it cost! It's not exactly I can ask her to buy it...then I'll get home, find no gpu and still be bashed over the head for asking her to buy it. That's not a win win scenario
...have you shown her the benchmarks? Surely she will see sense if you show her the benchmarks...

One of my fave games with the dlc that and msfs..

So how long till we need to pay a monthly subscription to unlock the faster mode for a graphics cards we have already bought.
Great idea, have forwarded it on to manufacturers. Why make different models if we can have one model, unlocked by tiered subscriptions and simplify production and testing.

God bless America.

Amazon doesn't give a crap if a GPU sells or not because it doesn't cost them anything so there is no reason why they need to lie about which product is popular

Sorry i cant offer much help for undervolting , as mentioned i find it is very efficient as stock and only uses what it needs for the desired fps ... it is nothing like the 3090 was which was pretty inefficient.

Video on undervolt on why not to do it on the 40 series :)
