Depends. If the 4070 is £800 I think I'd be tempted
how can you even think about entertaining that

Rumple thinks the Ryzen 5 3600 is as fast as the 5800X3D, so this madness does not surprise me.how can you even think about entertaining that
Nah they must have had hundreds and not just 10!Woah, thanks The cost of living crisis is no joke.
I know Nvidia mindshare is strong but a 12GB 4070 Vs the faster 20GB 7900XT, does not look good at all. And the AMD is a terrible buy, what does that make the 4070.
That would be a horrendous price, surely people are not gullible enough to lap that upThat’s suggests the £899 predicted price is right for the UK then. It could have course be higher as the msrp for the 4080 in Europe is €1469. That means that particular gigabyte card is going to be around £1099.

yeah im hoping i get to skip next gen with having a 4090 now, depends how much resale value it has by then
I can't choose between the c9 or aw3423dw for image quality. Aw is a little brighter, c9 is higher res.just set up my alienware aw3423dwf, got it for £75 off with the voucher code in the monitor forum, if anyone is on the fence about these then omg just do it, hdr is currently a little bugged on nvidia cards but it still destroys my lg cx tv for image quality/brightness
Problem with these for me and many others is the size. I'd be interested in a 38 inch version but then the problem no doubt would be the price. Currently using a 48 cx Oled and a 38 inch Alienware side by side, both have there pros and negs but complement each other brilliantly. I'd get rid of both for a aw3823dwf if released though, and if circa 1500...just set up my alienware aw3423dwf, got it for £75 off with the voucher code in the monitor forum, if anyone is on the fence about these then omg just do it, hdr is currently a little bugged on nvidia cards but it still destroys my lg cx tv for image quality/brightness
did that with my 2080ti and it lasted fine, dlss helped an awful lot of course as i'm sure frame generation will aswell, now on a four year upgrade cycle going forward

Is your CX faulty? They are not even close from my experience with both. Interested how a 1440p monitor can 'destroy' a 4k one for IQ too
dodgy sub pixel layout on the qd, worse than woled.
Still rocking my 55" B7, great TV! Still getting updates too!!!55e7 looks great still but just not a patch in terms of overall iq when side by side with my aw especially in hdr.
loved my alienware qd oled but sadly had to return mine as it wasnt playing nice when switching between my tv and back to the monitor it was putting the monitor into a deep sleep mode, only way to get the monitor back displaying was to hard power cycle my pc, reverted back to my 49 samsung g9 for the time being and its been flawlwss in same scenario but def plan on dipping my toes into the qd oled 49 inch models being shown at ces, when the alienware was on and working for me the picture quality and responsiveness was the best i had seen, enjoy the monitorjust set up my alienware aw3423dwf, got it for £75 off with the voucher code in the monitor forum, if anyone is on the fence about these then omg just do it, hdr is currently a little bugged on nvidia cards but it still destroys my lg cx tv for image quality/brightness
