Agree with this to a point. RT on vs off is fantastic and the world does look amazing with it but i wouldn't say it looks terrible without RT. The game is gorgeous as it is, RT adds a lot or a little but either version is still an amazing.
My screenshots in the spoiler tags. 4k, Ultra+, RT all on, DLSS quality + frame gen. Runs fantastic at 100 - 136fps with 7 - 10ms frame times and solid as a rock, not a single stutter or hitch.

Sorry but that water is too reflective, you shouldn't be seeing any of them houses in the reflection of water!

To a layman like me, it feels like the 4080 is the better buy over the XTX.
I agree but watch the final bit, it explains all i.e. everyone is getting ripped off with the new GPUs at their current prices

No, I can only go off my own testing numbers compared to my 4090. However, if you think my claim is false, techpowerups AIB reviews back it up. And btw, techpowerups reviews are leaving performance on the table.
