Have enjoyed using Nvidia GPU's since the Titan X (Maxwell)

But locking DLSS 3.0 to 4080 and 4090 GPU's is absolutely shocking.

As is the price of the 4090.

Don't know yet, that's what I'm wondering if they are doing artificial nerfing to make the new cards look good.

That car demo obviously leaned heavily into features that are only on the 40x0 cards, they did the same with Crysis 2; tesselating an ocean you cant even see to nerf Radeon cards.

As a 3090 Ti owner, the price is not too bad for such a high performance boost. I will preorder a 4090.

i think its linked to some hardware units/low-precision operations that the guy was rambling about, they'd be releasing white papers describing the innovation in greater detail
