Nvidia 4090 cutting signal to monitor after inactivity?

Recently after a driver update, my card started going to sleep if it did not detect any mouse movement. I have never enabled such a thing, and all power/sleep option are off. I went back to an earlier driver and the issue has gone away. Any idea what could be causing this or how to solve it? Thanks.

Did you check power management options in windows control panel to make sure its not timing out after set time period?

If you did a clean install of drivers it will revert any settings you did in nvidia control panel, first place i'd check if you had done.

Already did. I only use default settings in NCP. I reset it regularly, when any issue arises, just in case, even though I know I've never changed anything.

Might be a driver related thing then in the new update, usually what happens when they fix one thing they break something else.

Yeah, they're all off or inactive

yes dont update your drivers cause all the nvidia ones recently have been trash with long lists of known issues
