nvidia 460 or ati 6850?

hello im looking to get a new graphics card this christmas. considering the fact i have a 450w psu and an intel dual core processor, what graphics card would you all recommend for me, the nvidia 460 or ati 6850?

any help is appreciated.

460 if you can find one.

If not then depending on res the 550ti is good for up to 1680x1050. Anything over that though and you'll have issues.

thanks for the replies. i'm on 1600*900. also where would be the best places to buy it? i've been looking at amazon but they don't really offer warranty. i've also looked at play.com and ebay, the best offer i've seen is the one here on overclockers. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-160-EA

also will my pc cope with that one considering it's overclocked? i'm just worried about it overheating etc
