NVIDIA 5000 SERIES

That's not it. They see it as no competition, crazy mind share, and AI craze so might as well.

If they saw it like you said, over the years price for performance would never have improved and a 4090/5090 would have cost a lot more.

Isn't that exactly what's happened?

The 4080 and 4090 where layered on top of the 3080 and 3090 in terms of pricing.

The rumours on the price for the 5000 series suggest much the same.

Increase in performance / increase in price.

Because there is no competition in the space Nvidia operate in.

At this point, Nvidia are just seeing how much they can charge for these things with every new release.

People need to just stop buying them.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the 5090 is something silly like 3k this time, some people thought the 4090 was too cheap last time and look what Nvidia did when they thought the 3080 price was cheap, near doubled it.

3k for a 5090
1500 for a 5080
1000 for a 5070ti
800 for a 5070

Take it or leave it, if you don’t want it we’ll just sell the silicon to google/META for 40k a pop.

I’ve been sucking Jensen’s nuts ever since my first Nvidia GPU purchase which was a TNT2 Ultra..
My first GPU was the TNT2 non Ultra, didnt get any nuts with that one :D

I remember the good old days when we used to get to suck on a bag of Haribo with a new GPU purchase but I guess Jensen's nuts will have to do for most of you guys now!
