NVIDIA 5000 SERIES

People said last Gen 4090 rasterisation must be hiding something because of the slides nvidia chose to show. It all worked out in the end and the uplift was very good. I wouldn't worry... at least on the top end.
The 4090 had 50%+ shaders and clock speed over the 3090 though, the 5090 has +30% shaders but -4% clocks so don't expect anywhere near the uplift this time round.

So that would put the 5070ti just above the 4080 Super, nice

Maybe but shader count isn't everything. Lots of things have been increased on 5090 bandwidth/bus size etc. I wouldn't be surprised if it's close.

From the DF vid, nominal latency penalty from 4x frame get for a 70% increase in FPS over 2x frame gen (which is DLSS 3 equivalent).

Don't know if this has been posted yet. 4090 getting smoked with everything on. But how close will it be native i wonder? With no dlss etc

I'll turn it on for Indiana Jones later and off. Unless I can notice it during gameplay without pixel peeping at cobblestones or something then I don't care.
There have been some games where even having dlss on I've noticed weird things like slightly moving lines around stuff that I don't get on native.
Cyberpunk being one such example where this fan would render really weird with dlss on.
