And the 4090 draws less power than the 4080 Ti whilst maintaining a higher level of performance. We don;t know how efficient the 5090 is yet though.Yeah and +30% raster for +£400 is not a good deal especially when you consider the 3090 to 4090 jump for +$100.

I agree with you, but isn't it just interpolation? I had a nice TV years ago that would make 30fps 360 games look like they were running at 60fps or beyond. Yes there was a bit of lag here and there, and a few frame stutteres, but for the majority of the time if was way better. Why are you so hardcore against FG?
If the technology develops to a point where it is imperceptible compared to no FG are you saying you wouldn't use it?
Even with some flaws would you not use it to make an otherwise unplayable title playable on your hardware?
The 5090FE is pulling more power and is smaller than the 4090 so some extra noise should be expected. However, if it's annoying during normal (gaming) operation, that's still a problem that makes it a less impressive design.I'm getting PS4 flashbacks - Nvidia's RTX 5090 FE reportedly uses 600W of power and "sounds like a jet engine"
Tell me it ain't so...www.techradar.com
600W used during tests and louder than the 4090... Oof.
