it went away?Looks like coil whine is back on the menu lads! So exciting.
I'll look forward to the people who have these cards bitch fight over AMD/Intel power CPU consumption. The power usage of this card is stupid
I just looked at the power charts on TPU for the first time having just been concentrating on pretty much everything else. Holy smokes, 560w to 590wThe power usage of this card is stupid
weird, hardware unboxed couldn't hear it over case fans.
Wow, just wow. FE is so loud at load. 5090 Astral it is, easy decision!
Nope. on reddit (namely the Nvidia subreddit) people were claiming it would be slower than the 4090 in raster because it all relies on Dlss now. What? That doesn't even make any sense and I've not seen such claims - it has more CUDA cores, how could it be slower in raster? I think you might be confusing it with 5080.
I have never heard my 3080 fans, this seems very similar volume.weird, hardware unboxed couldn't hear it over case fans.
Watching HUB first, then will go to tech Jesus
it’s here to stay. Lots of reviews mentioning it. AIBs will be the same no doubt.it went away?

"After a little over 2 years we're seeing no improvement in cost per frame"

Oh, I thought you meant people not redditors... Very different bread that!Nope. on reddit (namely the Nvidia subreddit) people were claiming it would be slower than the 4090 in raster because it all relies on Dlss now.
5070>4090!Ofc it's nonsense, but there were many people all claiming the same nonsense, but they did.
Ignoring everything else, a bit slower clock with much larger number of CUDA cores or just much larger chip size, should be enough to know raster would be faster...Maybe the confusion was because it has a slower clock speed, but obv that means nothing when it's a new generation of cards etc...
