This pricing direction just isn't sustainable. We've all spent more on a GPU now than we ever thought we would a few years back but the way it's going they will just stop being bought eventually. I miss paying £200 for a recent beasty GPU :rolleyes: I might take up a new hobby like setting fire to prada handbags, might be cheaper

Prob because they have them in hand. Just checked 4 big retailers plus OCUK- 3 are out of stock completely and the other 2 are above £2000 with only one line in stock. Its starting to look like if you want a new 4080 or 4090 forget it.

So the lighting still isnt RGB addressable. It's funny because a rep was asked and he said he couldn't say under NDA "and just wait and see what happens" lol.
 
Ahhh end game capitalism - years old parts going up in price through the roof.

Unsurprisingly I'm closing my wallet on this one........no.

If we survive as a species the next 4 years, I may consider a 7090, until then CEO's of the planet, where possible, I am ejecting from the madness - time for us all to vote with our wallets & reject the manipulation.

Would be good to have the option of a beefier cooler for better temps/less noise. I wonder why nVidia pushed the limits so hard to get a 2 slot card.
 
Good reviews and my eagerness to get one is slowly wearing away, yes it's amazing but I expect my current setup may be too old and psu required. Maybe my 3080 is going to get a reprieve and stay of execution?

That is a head scratcher for sure, especially since SLI has been dead for many years now and so it doesn't really matter how fat that one expansion card you have on your mobo is. It's just aesthetics really... maybe that's why.
