Same paid £1200 as well at launch.
5090fe it is.
im locked into NVIDIA because of cuda and AMDs lack of support for ML research, its a 5090 or nothingTo potentially lose a sale? Seems like a terrible plan...
Before it was 5090 first choice, 5080 second choice... Now it's 5090 first choice.. nothing or maybe even AMD second choice. They must have some marketing GENIUSES
Got a Samsung 1440p qdoled late last year. I love it, even running in my old rx 6800I was thinking of getting a 5080 a few weeks ago, but after all the reviews of the 5080 and only having 16GB of Vram. I have decided to upgrade to an OLED monitor instead.
I think this will end up being the route I take once AMD disappoint in a couple months.I was thinking of getting a 5080 a few weeks ago, but after all the reviews of the 5080 and only having 16GB of Vram. I have decided to upgrade to an OLED monitor instead.
Yes, about that. Silly upgrade if you already have a 4080. But if you have <2080ti, 5080 is the most sensible upgrade if buying new imhoso the 5080 is 7% faster in pure rasterization at 1440p over the 4080s
The cost companies charge for a factory fitted waterblock is daylight robbery3k if you want the Aorus WB for the 5090.
Can't imagine what this is gonna do to used 4090 pricesAbsolutely wild the price variation of different 5080's.
It's daylight robbery, some not that far off to an MSRP 5090 FE!Absolutely wild the price variation of different 5080's.
Get out! *points to the door*There's actually only one person in this pic, the other three are artificially generated.

But the 5070 beats the 4090..So much hype for such a poor generation. And we’ve only seen the best so far, so it’s only going to get even more boring.
