I got a 5080 TUF OC and I'm upgrading from 4080.

They could figure it out easily but they simply don't want to as this clearly works for them. It creates a tonne of fomo and makes it look like their products are in incredible demand.

If anything it makes them look incompetent as we all know its bots grabbing them.

Every site crashed for me except nvidia, which says 'coming soon'. well, that's about as good a performance as the gpu. guess staying with my 3070ti 4k gaming setup still

I had x8 website windows open on my ultrawide and logged into all of them for a quick payment... but all either went down, still showing 'coming soon' and the nvidia page went straight from coming soon to out stock in a second. Pathetic launch and it seems most of the bigger retailers didn't get any stock at all.
