Nvidia 6100 + 7900GS help

hi guys ive got an Asus M2N VM DH mobo with a nvidia 6100 built in it has DVI out and i cant seem to get it working along side my 7900GS, i want to try and get it working so i can get another monitor connected up to my systems, before ou ask i already have 2 rigged upto the 7900, anyone ched any light on this?

hmmm I was pretty sure there is a conflict caused by using onboard with a pci-e card as the onboard always wants to be the primary display, not too sure what ya can do here im afraid

Is there an option in the bios? I had an asus board with onboard 6150 and when i fitted a 7600Gt i had the option of PCI-E, Onboard or Both.

If you selected both you had to set the amount of shared memory. If using a PCI-E card just set shared memory amount to disabled.

hmm well all that was there was, select onboard vga ram size, and select primary display which was set to PCI-E so i changed it to onboard saved changes then my screen went black until windows had fully booted which i thought was strainge so im instlling new drivers and hpefully it will detect both cards

nope didnt work hasnt found the 6100

i seem to have it halfway there wondows is detecting it and its in the device manger now i have right clicked the desktop and it has the 6100 and 7900 in drop down menu but it wont let me change the resoloution from 640x480 everytime i change it, it reverts back, it has also not been detected in the nvidia control panel only my 7900gs is there any ideas?

dont slate me but ive got same board and make sure you put it in right connection not on board pls dont laugh at the back off pc i had same probs exactly as you.when it boots up does it get to the asus bit at post then go black

well basilcy all i wanted is to run my Dell 2007WFP off of the 7900GS and possibly another monior then i wanted to run my 32" TV off of the 6100 which is connected atm but i get no signal, everything is connected properly m8

Could be wrong but I thought only the 6150 chipset could run onboard and graphics cards at once!

My 6150 seems to disable itself once you fit a PCI-E, no matter what VGA options you choose in BIOS.
