Im fairly sure my GFX is fried but I would like somebody else to say it so I can move on.

* My PC BSOD'd with nv4_disp.dll
* On reboot I notice screen corruption in the windows startup image (Horizontal blue lines)
* Monitor goes into Mode 2 on entering Windows XP

So, I booted into safe mode which works fine, uninstalled the Nvidia drivers and reinstalled some new ones from the Nvidia site. Didn't help things, so I used a program called Detonator destroyer and reinstalled the same drivers again. Still no joy. Monitor stays in Mode 2 when booting windows normally.

Without the nvidia drivers installed windows starts up correctly and uses some default drivers.

To confirm its a Leadtek Nvidia 6600GT I bought from OC.
Thanks

(ordering a BFG GF 7900 GS today to replace it)
