Nvidia 670GTX 98% power safe?.

Hi. Is 98% power usage of the card safe or should I turn some graphics down?. On the Nvidia Geforce experience when optimizing watch Dogs it sets everything to ultra and max AA etc apart from textures which it sets it to Medium as I only have a 2GB card. Any way I opened up MSI Afterburner and the power % is 98% and some times reaches 100 and lowest is 95 %. Temperature seems safe at 82c. everything running smooth how ever and no glitches in game. Just wondering if using that much usage is safe.

Yes, it's boosting itself until it maxes out a wattage that has been set by nvidia as safe.

I used to use 112% power with my old 670, i doubt your card will suffer too much before you sell it on.

I think I hit 120% on mine.

Mine did not go that high, 112% was the maximum i could do without doing something that could have voided warranty

Just been on watch dogs for 1hour 53mins and give or take 1degree at around 82c. Max power I saw was 107% and average 98%.

That's normal.
Pretty sure on my old DCU2 we changed the bios for 150% limit, never really went past 120% even boosting to 1300+

Yep, run my 660s at 110% constantly with no ill effect.
