Nvidia 680 SLI at 3440x1440?

I currently have two 680's in SLI. I've been very happy with the setup at 1920x1200.

I'm now thinking of getting an LG 34UM95-P which has 3440x1440 resolution.

Do you think the 680 SLI would manage at a decent frame Rate or do I need to upgrade there as well?

I'm mostly playing MMO's, currently Final Fantasy XIV.

If they are the 2gig cards you may need to tone down the settings to get the VRAM usage down otherwsie you'll experience stuttering. If they are the 4GB cards you should be fine on mid-max on most games

MMOs in general are not as intensive on vram usage as the typical AAA western releases, so you *might* be able to get away with 2GB.

I run 2 x 4gb 680's at 2560x1440 and I have very little issues with them... saying that the Witcher 3 is giving my PC a real beating and struggles to get anywhere near decent framerates.
