Hey All.... I'm picking up a Nvidia 7600 Geforce GS friday, my Nvidia 6800GT died on me.....
Anyway, my spec is:

Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20Ghz
3.00 GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce FX5200
Audigy 2 SE

Was wondering what FPS i'd get with games like EVE Online, BF2??
With my 6800GT, i still was at about 10-15 FPS in EVE Online!!!

Any Ideas You Clever People??

Thanks In Advance

sorry to hi-jack
my 6800gt also died and i was considering this card. how does it proform against the 6800gt? is there a better card around this price, people who own one how load is it? befor its end my 6800gt was screaming loud, my pc with out it is pretty much silent.

7600gs isn't a bad card. I play bf2 in almost full settings with it 1280*1024 but without AA and get decent framerates, between 40-100.

See, thats what i thought.....but what could it be???

Well have you checked that all power connectors on the card are plugged in, check the latest drivers, re seat the card and also use driver cleaner before installing new drivers after uninstalling old (you should not need to do this but I would try it), you could try re installing Windows.

I dont think its worth going to a 7600GS from a 6800GT, not worth the cost for the performance gain you might/ might not get.

Yep, checked all the connectors, only yesterday re-installed windows, cleaned all the drivers off with drivercleaner!

So, with a budget of £80-£100 what AGP card should i go for?

X1950Pro if the AGP one is under 100
