Quick question, will my psu be enough for the 7600gt

460 watts 12V @ 15A

Rest of the system
E6600 @ 2.4
2gb ram
1 HDD
1 DVDRW
1 Floppy drive :eek:

it doesnt seem to say, from hp xw4400 workstation.

Also in addition to saying 12V 15A, directly underneath it says:

12V A --15A
12V B -- 11A

does this mean a total of 26A meaning i could run a better card?

You might be able to get away with a 7600GT but if your PSU is of less than stellar build quality (cheap!) it might not be able to hack.
 
I'm running the kit in my sig including three HDDs / case fans etc from an Akasa PaxPower 460W and have had zero power issues. I'm also overclocking.
 
Have just bought a Gainward 7600GT AGP card for my system and works a treat.

The system is an AMD Athlon XP3000 running on an Nforce2 chipset with a couple of hard drives and DVD drives. Power comes from an FSP400-60PFN PSU that is rated at 400watts and 15amps on the single +12v rail.

Never had power issues with it yet.

The reason I chose the 7600GT is that it's pretty good with power and doesn't need a beefy PSU. I would say that your PSU should run a 7600GT OK.
