Nvidia 7950 mobo compatability

Waiting for my 7950 to be delivered but have concerns about whether it will work in SLI mode in my DFI 925X T2 mobo. The last bios update was Jan 2005!!! I know it works on some mobs not listed on Nvidia official list but has anyone got it working on one of these or a mobo with an old bios. I got it for £280 but don't see the point running as a single gpu when I've got an X1900XT at the moment.

Dissappointed with DFI for not updating bios since beginning of last year as it was a premium board and Abit have updated for their 925X boards.

Hi mate. Are you aware of anyone else managing to get that mobo working with the 7950 GX2. If not, and the mobo is not on the compatibility list, then you might have some problems. That said, you could always sell the board and pick up a compatible one, second hand from MM if necessary to save funds. A pain, I know, but at least you'd have your GX2 working to its full potential.

Slightly OT, but I'd like to ask a favour. I believe I managed to snag a 7950 GX2, yesterday, in the same manner that you did. I wonder, would you mind dropping me a line (andy dot r dot baker at ntlworld dot com)?
