NVIDIA 800 Series NEW

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Based on the confirmation I've posted above, does this still apply? It means they won be upto par with current gen?
 
GM204 is probably best avoided for anyone with highend cards already as it is likely to be a gutless pile of disappointment.
