Nvidia 8800 GTS Power

Thinking about getting a Nvidia 8800 GTS as you could guess from my other threads.

Anyway would the Corsair 520 watts be enough, it saids 500 Minimum and 600 recommended wouldn't want to lose any performance.

Also much diffrence between 8800 GTS and GTX?

Yes, that will be enough, gtx is 25% faster and costs 25% more

hi m8 i run gts on 430 seasonic and is fine.

as for gts or gtx im glad i have the gts but i would be glader if i had the gtx

but then im greedy like that.

No problems here on a 485W Enermax that is a couple of years old and I have a X2 overclocked with 1.59V VCore and two harddisks.

The 500W minimum refers to generic rubbish PSU's, if you have a 400+W quality PSU with 26A or more on the 12V rails you will be fine.

I have the corsair 520w with a 8800GTS and its running fine so far.

Less would ok but 520w is future proofing better.
