  1. It was released on the 19th, earlier this week.
  2. Premium lines and boutique brands (sager, dell, alienware, rock)
  3. iMacs use ati graphics cards, so unless they revamp the whole line with mobile nvidia 8 series cards, no.
  4. 8800 ofc.

What about the mac book pro then? They use nvidia 8series...

EDIT: Also when are we likely to see the 8800ms at affordable prices?

Forget it, the 8600m's power consumption and thermal output is much lower than the 8800m's.

The laptops it will be going into have a few things in common.

Huge power bricks, large heatsinks, lots of fans and are very thick/heavy. I would know, had one myself. :)

Top end hardware doesn't usually go in the same sentence as affordable. :p
