NVIDIA 980 DoA?

So after my last thread I bought a Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Super JetStream, arrived this morning fitted it, and it doesn't work...

When connected either to my iMac on mDP or via DVI to VGA on a TV the picture is full of horizontal sparkly lines. I've tried a different PCIE slot on my motherboard and it's still the same.

I'm guessing this is DoA?

Yer it is. You shouldn't get those lines in the BIOS.

I would speak to customer services and arrange a replacement, definitely a faulty card, especially in the BIOS

Since it's doing that just on the BIOS, that is definitely a DoA card.

You can also get them lines if the cable to not plugged in fully, but seeing you have tried it with two displays that is unlikely in this case.
