Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. So basically all Intel Nehalem chipsets will support Crossfire out of the box but only a few will have the necessary chip to support SLI also and will probably be offered as "premium" models at higher cost. Meanwhile NVidia won't be producing their own boards for Nehalem!?
If this is true then I really think this could be the end of SLI tbh.

Yeah, that can't come around quick enough tbh. Still, I'm sure just having a solitary chip bastardised onto an Intel board they'll manage to fudge it up somehow.
but in general neither company cares much about their multigpu stuff, its bragging rights, not money making.
