Hi has anybody found a solution to Nvidia cards showing the bios screen on the HDMI (secondary screen) instead of primary screen (display port)? have had a look around google and cant see anything that stands out, i have a Asus P8Z77-V LX2 mother board and up to date Nvidia GTX970 with 4 displays hooked up, but it always goes to the HDMI unless its unplugged, even with DisplayPort set as primary.

why is this a bad thing? if you have a monitor on the HDMI then you can see and use bios no? and as you said if HDMI is unplugged it will then default for a different screen so again what is it doing that stopping you from working??

In BIOS, is there a "csm compatibility module"?

If so enabled it, test, if fail play around with turning some of the option there into uefi only or uefi first.
