nvidia cards same.....?

i have seen many a person state that all the nvidia cards are made at one facotry and the partners just add a bundle sticker and waranty.

wheres the evidence of this?

and do ati (partners) do this?

Foxcon make all the Nvidia cards, then the partners get their branding etc... put onto them.

yeah, i remember it being foxcon, but no one backs it up... so where did this rumor come from?

Not entirely sure, but I think at least for the 8800 GT (probably goes for the 8800 GTS and 9800 GTX, too) it's Foxconn and Flextronics. Although some partners like XFX actually have their own manufacturing facilities (or so I'm told) and make (some of?) the cards themselves. I know they did this with some 8800 GT 256MB cards.
