I tried changed the AA settings in the control panel for TDU last night. (bumped it up to 8x) to see if it would make a difference.

Now every time i try and go into the settings for TDU in the control panel it crashes and does the send error thing. :( Its only when try and access the TDU setting in the CP nothing else make a difference and nothing else is affected

The games running fine so its not a big problem just an annoyance....

Any ideas guys? Thanks. :)

Ah, well at least its not just me! :p

I'm guessing that a driver reinstall would be the only way to fix it?

Which version of drivers are you using? I've had no issues like that with the 93.81 drivers.
Ah sorry, using the latest off the Nvidia website. 158.22. (XP Home)

No, I get this with every drivers since 97.xx and reinstalling does not help at all.
Fair enough, thanks.
My fix is to adjust the default settings for every game I play, annoying but at least it works without crashing.
Downside is that it only works if you haven't adjusted individual game stting that override the default settings.
Sorry for being dim, what do you mean by default settings? I usually have the settings for the games in the control panel set to Application controlled, but as i had the game settings maxed and still getting 60+ fps, i thought i'd try setting the AA in the Nvidia panel to 8x.

No the latest 8800 drivers (158.22) dont have the classic control panel option, do they?

Any other ideas people, or do i live with it? :)
