Does anyone else have this problem ..

I turn vertical sync off in the NVidia control panel and every time I reboot my PC it default back to ON..........:(

Yep, same for me.

Yep and works well for me. One thing I have noticed though is that every time I restart my computer, I then have to go back into the NCP and turn FastSync back on, as it reverts to G-Sync only. Proper annoying, as the NCP takes an age to open as well :(

From the FastSync thread.

the NVCP is much slower at opening and switching between menu's.
I was thinking it was maybe searching through the games & programs that are installed as the reason it was taking so long as you can hear the hard drive going reading...

I use G-Sync and as far as I know enabling it in the Nvidia control panel also enables V-sync.

I turn it off in the game options menu, as I think that's how it's supposed to work?

If you want to stick with just G-Sync, you are doing it correctly but if you have a Pascal GPU, you get the option of FastSync in the Vertical Sync drop down menu, which works really well and if you are playing something with high frames, you get no noticeable lag, tearing or stuttering.
