Nvidia CPU's? Nvidia is looking at a takeover bid for ARM

The CCP's goal is: Let's copy the competitor's product, then sell it back to the West at under our cost by product dumping until our competitors exit the market. Then use our global power to expand our imperial territory.

One of the ARM co-founders is saddened by what happened:

Even the ARM co-founder said Nvidia would be a terrible owner,so yes a consortium would be a better choice. As he mentioned ARM has to stay neutral and be easily licensable, other as he said companies will look at other alternatives.

why didn't the British Goverment block first sale? Seems like a historically bad idea given the situation we now face with Huawei and countries wanting to nationalise the tech industry to gaurantee national and citizen security

Watch AMD and Intel shares skyrocket tomorrow when they learn there will no longer be a 3rd competitor in the integrated and APU space.

Intel gets to keep its dominant position in supplying CPUs in laptops for another decade and AMD has almost no competition - pretty much gaurantee the next PlayStation and Xbox will use AMD APUs again

ARM to axe 15% of their staff after deal with Nvidia failed

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-60745707

This is a sad news. I'm sure Apple, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Qualcomm and Samsung will be making a big meal out of this, taking key staff away from ARM. Less competition overall, and really bad news for Android phones in particular which rely on high-perf ARM designs.

I can't help but laugh

UK: Arm must stay in the UK, say NO to Nvidia deal!

ARM: Ok we stay but we have no money, so we'll just cuts hundreds and hundreds of well paid UK jobs
