Is it possible to have nvidia demos on ati cards as id like to have a look at some but so far the smoke in a box doesnt work.

nvidia demos on ati cards ?

They could check card ID numbers first to ensure that it's not possible. Technically there wouldn't be anything an nVidia card can do that an ATi card can't. Vice versa though there's that tech.. can't remember what it's called.. something to do with mountains and snow being automatically generated through a map.. that ATi have and nVidia never bothered with.

Tessalation ? im sure i read the dx10 spec got dumbed down so that nvidias ofering could still be called dx10 capable. dx10.1 is probably an effort to put the rest of x10 back in. we my find even ati x2xxx range suddently dx10.1 capable

The new ATi cards are DX10.1 capable aren't they?
