I bought a new box from Overclockers recently. I have set it up as a dual boot machine - so it can run both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate. I agreed to buy an additional video card having been told at the time of purchase that, by doing so, the machine would support dual monitors.
This works fine under 64 bit Windows where it recognises one of the monitors correctly as an Acer and the video card as an NVidia GeForce GT430 (with Chip type "GeForce GT 430" and total available graphics memory 2747Mb)and I can move my mouse between the expanded display across both monitors.
However it does not work under 32 bit Windows where it only recognises one monitor and shows it as generic non-PNP (not Acer) and shows card as "standard VGA graphics adapter" (with Chip Type "NVIDIA" and total available graphics memory as 14Mb)
I have installed drivers from CD supplied by Overclockers for the motherboard under both Windows versions.
Any suggestions?
