Since I upgrade to an SSD drive, an OCZ Vertex 2 60GB, the Nvidia driver fails to start after turning on the PC.

So if I turn it off at the end of the day and then start it back up the next day I have to reinstall the driver everytime.

If I have to just restart my PC for any reason after the driver is installed it's ok and everything is fine. Power it off and the next time I power on I have to reinstall the driver.

I've checked that "Load all drivers and service" are checked to start through MSCONFIG.

The Nvidia folder with the driver is on the C drive even when the driver hasn't started.

Well I say the driver hasn't loaded, it's more like Windows is redetecting my GFX cards and needs the driver installing for them. Yet there are no pop ups infroming me new hardware has been detected.

I have tried searching, but can't seem to find a solution.

System Specs are:

Intel Core i7 920, Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R , 6GB Patriot Viper DDR3, OCZ Vertex 2 60GB SSD, 2x GTX 260 maxcore in SLI, Windows 7 64bit Home Premium.

Nvidia driver 257.21

Do you have write caching enabled on the SSD? might be worth trying with it off incase something isn't being written back properly.
