Nvidia Driver Issue

Hey all,

One of my friends has an issue with the latest Nvidia driver, when he updates to it, it no longer recognises his monitor so he can't adjust his resolution/refresh rate, etc.

When he rolls back to an old driver, it works fine.

Checked cable, connected via display port.

Any ideas what it could be?, its stumped me.

Cheers

Tom

Strange. I'd try completely wiping everything using DDU to make sure that it's not some sort of conflict caused by cruft. Should probably download the driver package in advance and stay offline during the process, then install it before reconnecting to stop Windows trying to pull some random version automatically.

If that doesn't do anything then it's probably a bug that's been introduced with the new driver.
