Nvidia Driver Problem

i have a BFG 8800GT OC edition and when i found a driver update i installed it and when i restart my computer the screen has black boxes and white boxes on it and i cant see the screen what am i doing wrong?

possible corrupt driver install? try rolling back to previous driver and see how you get on

Try going into safe mode and rolling back the driver. Then redownload and reinstall.

it has happen on 2 occasions i run it iin safe mode and do system restore. what i dont understand is that ive tried 2 drivers which both say that they are suitable for my graphics card :S

installed then twice still does the same thing

you could try uninstalling the driver as suggested than use driver sweeper to get rid of all traces, than check again in safe mode...redownlaod or what have you than reinstall again... I know that sounds like too much of a fuse, but it might help
