Nvidia Driver size..

I've just updated my drivers to 181.22 and then looked in control panel to uninstall PhysX software and noticed the install size for the drivers.



Doesn't that seem a little big for drivers ?

Blimey, just checked mine and they're saying 3.54gb. wtf!!!!!?????

Ah, very good point. I'm using 181.22 also. Now we need someone to post who has previous drivers to compare.

Yup, I noticed this earlier last week after installing that driver. Quite good of Nvidia to fit it inside a 77MB exe setup file really.

It's probably just Vista being a nob and reporting incorrect info.

Mine wont show me the size. Quite funny how large its being reported by windows.

1.1gig here for the drivers, with 121mb for PhysX. Still seems a tad over the top.

I always uninstall the old drivers before installing the new ones though. Maybe that helps size wise.

I only updated them because the nvidia control panel wasn't saving my settings.. and these are doing the same thing now.

If I have "AA" & "AF" "Forced Off" then set it ingame to on, they change, same happens with V-Sync

@ first post, atleast it isn't just me thinking my computer having a hissy fit over the new drivers

Why would you want to do that? makes no sense to me.

I mean no matter what setting I have in NV control panel, the game always overrides the settings.
